Use the same Apple ID every time and everywhere that you sign in to:

If you use any of these apps, services or features, you already have an Apple ID and don't need to create a new one. You're ready to sign in.
When you sign in to the App Store and other media services for the first time, you might need to add a credit card or other payment information. You can’t sign in to the App Store and other media services with more than one Apple ID at the same time, or update the content you buy with a different Apple ID. Depending on how you created your Apple ID, you might be prompted to upgrade to two-factor authentication on an eligible device.
When you turn on and set up your new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac, you’ll see a message to sign in with your Apple ID. After you sign in, all of the Apple services on your device will set up automatically.
If you aren’t sure what your Apple ID is, look it up by entering the full name and email address associated with your Apple ID.* If you forgot your Apple ID or password, we can help you find it or reset it. To manage your Apple ID, including updating trusted phone numbers and devices or changing a payment method, use the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, System Preferences on your Mac, or sign into your Apple ID account page.
* If your mobile phone number is your Apple ID, you might not be able to look up your Apple ID.
* If you are already signed in to iCloud on the iPhone paired with your Apple Watch, you will automatically be signed in to that Apple ID.
If you're using macOS Mojave or earlier, sign in to all of your Apple services separately with the same Apple ID.

If you use two-factor authentication on an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), you might need to enter a verification code with your password. Learn how to get a verification code.

If you see a Sign in with Apple button on a participating app or website, it means you can use your existing Apple ID to set up an account and sign in quickly and easily. Learn how to use Sign in with Apple.
You can use your Apple ID on some third-party devices to sign in to Apple services, like Apple Music, the Apple TV app and more. On a PC, you can sign in to iCloud for Windows to access photos, documents and bookmarks, or iTunes for Windows for music, films and TV programmes.
Depending on your device, you might need to use an app-specific password.


To view and manage your Apple ID account details on the web, sign in to appleid.apple.com. You can also see your purchase history for the App Store or iTunes Store.
