Overview

This information pertains to software available through the IU/Microsoft Campus Agreement with Core Server Site License for use on personal devices.

Use the slider between the Mac and Windows icons to select a size for the Windows partition. UITS recommends that you use 80 GB for just Windows, and 90 GB for Windows plus Microsoft Office. Click Install. This process will take several minutes to complete. Once the partition is created, your Mac will restart and begin installing Windows 10.

  • Desktop products (departments, faculty, staff):
    • Windows OS upgrades
      All new systems purchased must have an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Windows license before you may legally upgrade to a Microsoft Windows operating system version provided by IU. For more, see Departmental Windows installations and the IU/Microsoft Campus Agreement.
    • Office (Windows or Mac)
  • Server products (departments only):

    All versions of these products are included in the agreement. Some software is available only by special request; for more information, email Support Center Tier 2.
