Outlook Won’t Work in MacOS High Sierra – Fix. I updated my Microsoft for Mac today for outlook. Powerpoint etc. On upgrading to outlook version 15.41. Microsoft heeft als onderdeel van zijn december beveiligingsupdate MS15-131 ook Office 2016 voor Mac voorzien van een update. Office 2016 voor Mac bevat naast Word, PowerPoint, Excel en Outlook.
Microsoft has just released brand new Microsoft Office 2016 preview for Mac. Have you downloaded and installed Mac Preview Edition? I just did and it worked perfectly fine except Outlook crash each time
when I start the Microsoft Outlook.app
.

Well there is a simple solution to fix it. Just execute below two commands on Terminal.app
and you should be all set.
defaults delete com.microsoft.Outlook-todelete old preferences |
After above steps, just launch the Outlook application and you should be all set. Just don’t import anything from Mac 2011 installs.
This issue doesn’t impact old Outlook 2011 application – it works without issue.
Where is my Database File for Outlook
2011 and 2016? The Outlook database is completely separate from the one used in Outlook 2011.
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities
~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile
Enjoy New Office. So far it’s all good.

A Smart Folder, also known as a saved search or a search folder, is a virtual folder that dynamically displays a set of search results. Windows Vista calls this a “Search Folder”.
Tip: Once you have all messages shown in your search you can select all messages by year and assign a category 'Year 2010' for example to messages. Then under File > Export you can select to export by category 'Year 2010' to save those messages. You can select to just export to archive or export and delete.
